Back To School Bingo: free printable cards
Printable back to school bingo cards with supplies, places, and routines for week one.
Back to school bingo is an easy first week activity that introduces classroom vocabulary while students settle in. The squares name supplies, places, and routines around the school, which gives new students a gentle tour of what to expect.
Play it on the first or second day as a get to know the room exercise, pausing to point out where each item lives. Counters, dried beans, or torn paper work as markers. The winner can be first in line for recess or pick the read aloud.
One of the 5×5 cards this template makes. Every printed card gets its own layout.
How to play
- Hand out cards during the first week of school.
- Call each item and point out where it lives in the room.
- Students cover the square with a counter.
- First row wins a small classroom privilege.

Printing tips
- For a group of up to 30 you can print everything free. Choose 2 cards per page for a standard size, or 4 per page to save paper.
- Turn on the call sheet. It lists every square in a random order with a checkbox, so the caller never repeats one.
- Add a few more squares than the 24 a card needs. The more entries, the more the cards differ.
- Pick “Save as PDF” in the print dialog if you want to email the cards or print them later.
